Daryl has been in Kuala Lumpur with students from South Africa and all over Asia. They have worked very hard and asked a lot of questions, with the team of tutors having been stretched to meet demand. They all should do very well.
As ever he is in awe of how well these students do studying a scientific subject in a foreign language. They face the barriers of new information and sometimes new vocabulary at the same time. Daryl’s role this week has been very varied and changing every couple of hours, as the week draws to a close it is mop up time, and revising for resits for those who did not succeed in all the different sections, so there are various subjects from various syllabi to revise and reteach, it all makes for an arduous but eventful weeks work.
